If you have eyes you've probably noticed that things look a little different. And if you look closer you'll see that I've switched from LifeType to Drupal. I was never a huge fan of LifeType. The only reason I used it in the first place was because my host had it pre-loaded. My intentions were to try it out for a little while and then move on to something else. "A little while" turned into two years.
A direct migration from LifeType to Drupal wasn't easily doable. I actually had to install WordPress, import all the posts from LifeType, and then import from WordPress into Drupal. I had to manually enter all the comments. It was a lot of work, but it didn't really take that long.
While I was at it, I imported what I considered to be the 20 best posts out of over 160 entries from my old MindSay blog that preceded this site. Why 20? That's the most I could import at one time. Now you can go back and read 3 to 4 year old posts about zombies, head shaving, and some of my run ins with 'Suzy Q'.
You'll also see a few ads now. I don't think they're too obtrusive.
